New AI Features Coming in Q2 of 2026

Something big is coming. Actually, three big things are coming.

If you’ve been following what’s happening in dental tech (or any other industry), you know it: AI is everywhere. Every platform, pitch deck, and podcast is promoting it. Some of it seems genuinely useful, but a lot of it feels like features looking for problems to solve.  

We’ve been paying close attention to the AI front, and have already incorporated it into some features, like Dental Intelligence Scorecards. But before sprinting to put the shiniest new toys in every aspect of the platform, we were resolved to determine where AI would actually hold promise for the people who run dental practices every single day. We wanted to build things that would really matter, not just things that make for a good demo.

We watched, we listened, and now we’re excited to start pulling back the curtain. Starting in Q2 of 2026, we’re rolling out three new AI-powered capabilities that have the potential to make your life – and your patients’ lives – easier than ever.

Here’s what we can tell you (for now)

We’re not ready to reveal everything at once. Each feature will get its own full announcement as it becomes available. But we can give you a sense of what’s coming.

You’ll be able to talk to your data. You won’t have to decipher charts and graphs, or spend time digging through mountains of metrics. Ask a question, get an answer — it's that easy.  

Fill scheduling gaps before you notice them. Online Scheduling made filling gaps easier, but soon you’ll be able to fill them effortlessly. What we’re building will help you close scheduling gaps and recover that revenue without any additional lift from your staff.  

Be there for patients 24/7/365. (366 on leap years. We’re thorough). Sometimes, a patient wants to book, confirm, get payment information, or whatever else at 1 am on a Tuesday. We’re building something that can make that happen, even when nobody is there to answer the phone.

Here’s what this is NOT:

This is not AI for AI’s sake. It’s not about keeping pace or checking a box. Every one of these features is being built because we found real, recurring places where practices lose time, patients, or revenue. These features will exist to help close those gaps without asking for more lift from you.

We believe people are the heart of dentistry, and AI’s role should be to support those people. When your team can de-centralize the constant stress of mundane, day-to-day work, the relationship between your practice and your community can truly thrive.

The full vision here requires more than just one blog post, so we’ll be sitting down with our CTO, Sudarshan Raghunathan, in the coming weeks for a deeper conversation about how we approached building these features, what we learned watching the market, and what we think the future of AI in dentistry actually looks like.
